Joining the show to discuss the foundaiton and the Vision Walk is Dr. Val Foytik, an Optomertrist in Suffolk, Virginia. For the past 15 years, Dr. Foytik has specialized in helping patients with low vision. Also joinin g the show will be Debra laughlin. Debra was diagnosed with Cone-Rod Dystrophy, an inherited retinal disease that has been traced back 5 generations in her family. She will share with us her story as to how her life had to shift into a new “normal”.

Both Debra and Dr. Foytik have been involved with the Vision Walk in Virginia Beach since the very first walk 14 years ago.
